The Nutrition situation of Nigeria has not improved in the past 10 years according to the latest MICS 2016 report. It is saddening to note that the proportion of children stunted, underweight and wasted today are more than they were ten years years ago.
Various interventions carried out seemed not to have resulted in improved nutrition status as expected especially among the vulnerables i.e. underfives. There seems to be a missing link between what we know and do and a disconnect between what we do and the outcomes.
