Health Development Accelerator (HiDAP) Program Close–Out

The finalists of the 2015 Health Innovation Challenge (HiDAP) were enrolled in the Health Innovation Development Accelerator Program (HiDAP). This is a bespoke 12-month non-residential program that combines real-world experience with established business principles. It strategically provides health innovators with the needed skills, support, and investment opportunities to build sustainable businesses that benefit Nigeria’s health sector.

The innovations were also enrolled in Lagos Business School courses such as Financial Intelligence, Leadership and Negotiation, Operations Strategy, etc. to educate them with some theoretical knowledge, and linked to partner mentor organisations to provide industry insights and technical support such as Dangote Group, GE Healthcare, GSK, GSMA, etc.

Capstone/learnings presentation were done by innovators to Lagos Business School (LBS) facilitators, Academic Director and PHN Personnel.  Innovators that participated in HiDAP were presented certificates by PHN Board. This marked the end of the inaugural Health Innovation Development Accelerator Program (HiDAP) where all stakeholders involved in the program were invited and board members had the opportunity to learn more about the innovators.
